After a BA in Social Work, Pippa's curiosity got the better of her & she entered the research industry with KLA, becoming their senior analyst.
In 2002 she joined Freedthinkers & is now the partner heading up Freedthinkers Insights, ensuring the research we undertake is the foundation stone for strategy & impact.
Pippa leads assignments for some of the country's biggest brands, from telecoms & media, to finance & beverages. She also leads international projects in media, health & nutrition.
Following a career in advertising as an award-winning copywriter & creative director, Mike founded Freedthinkers in 2000 to explore what is, what can be & how to get there.
His job is to grow culture & brands through collaborative & co-creative processes with our clients. This ranges from the direction a start-up should take to the vision for a city.
Mike is also a published author & writes regular pieces of freedthinking about culture, brands & strategy.
With a Masters Degree in International Relations, June went to Department of Foreign Affairs where she became the UN negotiator. She has 16 years experience in the development sector & until March 2012 was CEO of South Africa's environmental agency.
June joined us to head up Freedthinkers Impact, assessing impact upon society & the environment, while exploring how this impact can be more positive.
Her work ranges from the impact a city makes to the global impact of vector borne disease treatment.
